Weatherization Awards

The State & Local Energy Report is excited to announce the first Weatherization Awards. They will recognize the year’s best projects completed with public and private funds in the following areas:

  • single-family home weatherization or renovation
  • multi-family building weatherization or renovation
  • new residential construction
  • best example of state-of-the-art energy efficiency improvements, including the innovative use of solar, ground water heat pumps or other renewable energy systems

Winners will be featured in the January 2009 issue of the State & Local Energy Report and will be recognized at the February meeting of the National Association for State Community Services Programs in Washington, D.C.

Each application will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by the magazine and the National Association for State Community Services Programs.
